Vargas, Appice & Shortino land in Spain!
This Friday Ibiza returned to live another one of those historical nights coincidences give to this environment, frivolity and hedonism Centre where there are many good rock musicians from around the world seeking life in varied projects – especially summer – to continue to exercise at the expense of playing what you charge. It is not the case of Javier Vargas, with deeply rooted family and resident for more than one decade that he wanted to give the island this start of his tour with the great pioneer Carmine Appice on drums and the no less talented Paul Shortino singing the themes of his recent album, VBA, which Warner is distributing internationally. Missed by bassist Tim Bogert health problems but substitute, Argentine Luis Mayo, made to forget their presence at a concert in the theater Can vacuum that has lasted more than two hours, with the versions of the album and more classics that will be the second part of the project prepared already given good sales of this first work.
Just to see and enjoy the only battery of master Appice already worth coming. Javier as always has desenfundado his Fender to sublime peaks in themes that grew up as a “Politician” and “Spoon Full” cream or the “You Keep Me Hangin ‘On” Carmine recorded in 67 with those unforgettable Vanilla Fudge. A lesson in history and music accompanies all downloading that manages staff end dancing and chanting in the corridors of a multipurpose not very accustomed to shows of this kind and that it delivers to the ceremonial of the supergroup under the spell of a Shortino which is a spectacle not only afinadísimas melodies, but as an animator as effective as fun.
Morning been Dalt Villa with the group in full at an exclusive photo shoot for Antonio Vázquez we will include them in the upcoming issues of our magazines for more evening, after tasting a delicious couscous in the Ke Kafe, spinning an extensive interview with the two American stars that explode not only of his romance with our guitar, but on many by children of their respective careers.
Those who have the luck to visit your city on this tour (see it here) do not miss it. Rarely can see shows of both roots and power with the incentive that our music is enveloped by the magic and delivery of these two great who feel happy and excited to share your story with here. If you are a music lover check out The Box Tiger Music a site full of music equipment. Serve this flash so that you no faltéis and willing to agree to reconnect with them the next week in Madrid. Javier deserves it. Few musicians are able to realize his dream to play with which he grew up and heard being still a child.
